Celebs who transformed over the years
Mickey Rourke – 68, Bar Fly
Mickey Rourke is an American actor who made a name for himself in the ’80s due to his impeccable performances on Angel Heart and Barfly. Unlike today, Mickey was a serious heartthrob back then, making his facial changes more prominent.
At some point in his high flying career, Mr. Rourke opted to switch careers from acting to boxing. His boxing career was pretty rough on his face, and he had some severe injuries which ended up needing plastic surgery for facial reconstruction. Sadly, the procedure was a bust leaving him quite disfigured. However, Mickey got over it, and against all odds, he even managed to pick up his acting career.
Courteney Cox – 56, Friends
Courteney Cox became a household name after her superhit debut in Friends and stole the hearts of millions with her breathtaking looks. During her time in the entertainment business, the stunning actress has appeared in numerous blockbuster projects.

Cox joins the list of celebrities who regret having cosmetic surgery. In an interview, the superstar revealed that she got lip injections, but Cox later realized that it did more harm than good. Probably that is why she decided to have them dissolved, and these days, she is enjoying her natural look and appears pretty happy with it.
Russel Crowe – 56, Gladiator
During his Gladiator days, Russell Crowe was a hunk that probably lived in the gym; his well-defined muscles and physique really sold the roles he portrayed. In recent years, this has changed since the actor has chosen a more slow-paced approach to life and has gained some weight.

His ‘dad bod’ is complemented by his thick grey beard that won’t be shaved any time soon. For some reason, this seems to work in his favor since he is not short for jobs and his acting career is still active. Russel’s adoring fanbase is very loyal, after all.
John Stamos – 57, General Hospital
John Stamos was a heartthrob when he played Blackie Parrish in ABC’s highly-acclaimed series General Hospital, and he still is even at 57 today. Before we move forward, we must also acknowledge his magnificent performance on the show, which even earned him a Daytime Emmy Award nod.

Stamos is still busy being an actor and has starred as Dr. Nicky in You, Lifetime/Netflix’s psychological thriller. These days, though, he also spends his time with his son and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, who he married in 2018. Catch him on the TV show Big Shot, where he plays the role of Marvyn Korn.
Mark Hamill – 69, Star Wars
Most of you might remember Mark Hamill from his famous Luke Skywalker role in the superhit Star Wars franchise. If you are a fan, you might know how handsome and youthful face he had back then. But believe us, his face is unrecognizable these days. Although the changes in his appearances are not unusual or extraordinary, they are merely effects of aging.

Hamill might sport fine lines and sagging skin, but you can still see the leading man’s shining blue eyes, which are his major face asset to this day. It would be fair to say that Mark can easily replace several young aspiring actors even today!
