Hollywood’s Golden Era Stars Who Live in Houses More Luxurious Than Any A-List Celebrity

Richard Gere – $36.5 Million, Hamptons

Richard Gere, the Hollywood hunk who captivated us with his performance in Pretty Woman, knows how to pick pretty real estate as well. As it appears, Gere had bought three adjacent lots, eventually building a compound and naming it Strongheart Manor. As you can see, it doesn’t get any more luxurious than this.

According to reports, Gere first tried to sell the entire compound in 2013 for the mindblowing price of $65 million. He then cut the price down a bit, dropping it to $47 million in 2014. Eventually, in 2016, it was reported that he sold Strongheart Manor for $36.5 million. Gere’s most recent film credit was in the 2017 movie Three Christs.

John Travolta – $4.9 Million, Florida

It’s sad that John Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, passed away in July 2020 after her 2-year battle with breast cancer. They were some of the first people to buy a property in Florida’s Jumbolair Aviation Community. Their house reportedly cost around $4.9 million, but other homes that have since come up on the market had prices of up to $10 million!

Travolta’s house has an airway that leads straight to his front door. It has walls of glass and a large swimming pool. Yet, its most unique feature is the parking space for both his cars and his planes. In 2020, Travolta played in the Die Hart series.

Anthony Hopkins – $11.5 Million, Malibu

Anthony Hopkins, the renowned star from Silence Of The Lambs, Hannibal, The Mask Of Zoro, and more, found his ideal vacation getaway destination in Malibu, one of the most affluent areas in America. It came with 4,010 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, and five bathrooms, as well as with a stunning view of Zuma Beach and Point Dume.

It was one of the few houses that remained intact after the California wildfires in 2018. We don’t know why, but Hopkins, who now sits on a massive $160-million net worth, decided to list it in 2020 for $11.5 million. Hopkins’ latest film appearance was in the 2020 drama film The Father.

Sylvester Stallone – $110 Million, Los Angeles

One year after Sylvester Stallone got married to Jennifer Flavin, they purchased this mega-mansion in Beverly Hills together. Though it may be unclear how much they paid to call it home, he’s recently listed it on the market, asking for $110 million. Of course, the house also comes with a large memorabilia room, rumored to be filled with surprises.

The house has a total interior of 21,000 square feet, with eight bedrooms, a movie theater, a gym, a cigar room, and a separate guest house. It is part of a gated community with guards and even comes with an air-filtration system. In 2021, Stallone will be playing in Samaritan.

Clint Eastwood – $9.75 Million, Pebble Beach

Clint Eastwood is undoubtedly the biggest star when it comes to spaghetti-western films. He achieved international success with his iconic performances in the Dollars trilogy and the Dirty Harry films. In the last couple of years, he’s mostly into directing, with his latest work being the 2018 film The Mule.

Eastwood used to live in this magnificent hacienda located in Pebble Beach. The house features six bedrooms, custom-made chandeliers, a large garden, seven bathrooms, and 6,900 square feet of living space. The mansion sits on a big 4.7-acre property, providing all kinds of luxury. In 2017, it was listed for $9.75 million.
