American football player and social activist Colin Kaepernick is said to have a fortune of $20 million. Kaepernick earned a little more than $43 million in pay over his six seasons in the NFL from 2011 to 2016. (before taxes and fees). During the 2016 season, his highest NFL salary was $14.3 million.
A well-known political and civil rights activist, he is also renowned for kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games to protest racial inequity and police brutality in the United States. Kaepernick became a free agent following that season and has remained unsigned ever since.
