 Ginger Zee – $500K

Ginger Renee Colonomos, who many of you know as Ginger Zee, majored in meteorology when she studied at Valparaiso University. Some of you might’ve not known this, but she always wanted to land a job at The Today Show. She didn’t exactly get what she wanted, but she still landed a great job at ABC News.

She is a meteorologist for the network, and she eventually became their chief meteorologist. Reports say that she’s making about $500K per year. You can catch her on Good Morning America, and she also hosts the docu-series called Hearts of Heroes.

Savannah Guthrie – $8 Million

Savannah Guthrie was a cum laude graduate during her bachelor’s, and a manga cum laude graduate when she pursued her Juris Doctor degree. She was able to work as a local broadcast journalist and litigation associate before she got hired by NBC News in 2007.

She became Today’s chief legal analyst and third-hour host, but she got promoted to co-anchor in 2012. She’s reportedly making around $8 million yearly. In 2019, Guthrie got hit in the eye by her son’s toy train, and she ended up tearing her retina. She had to get surgery and was able to get back to her job earlier in 2020.

Deborah Norville – $4 Million

For more than two decades now, Debora Norville has been working as an anchor for the program called Inside Edition. Her yearly income today amounts to about $4 million. She had an impressive 4.0 GPA and was a summa cum laude graduate when she took up journalism at the University of Georgia.

She is also passionate about writing, and her publication titled Thank You Power was a bestseller. In 2019, a viewer saw that Norville had a lump on her neck, and when she later got checked, she discovered she had a cancerous thyroid nodule. She then got had surgery to remove it and is doing fine these days.

Scott Pelley – $7 Million

There is no doubt that Scott Pelley loved his job at CBS News because he stayed with the network for at least three decades. He was able to have a yearly salary of $7 million. He wasn’t only an anchor for CBS Evening News, for he was also their managing editor.

In 2017, the network removed him from his anchor chair. He believes that it happened because he complained about the hostility that was happening in their workplace. Today, Pelley is busy being a 60 Minutes correspondent, and he’s an author as well. His most recent release is titled Truth Worth Telling.

Molly Qerim — $500K

The sports journalist Molly Qerim studied communications and business administration at the University of Connecticut, her home state. After graduating, it didn’t take her very long to become a well-known TV personality in the entire country, as she joined CBS Sports around 2008. She primarily rose to fame for her work as co-host/reporter in MMA and UFC-related events at that network.

Later on, Qerim landed a job at ESPN, where she gets the big bucks and a primetime slot. She’s best known for appearing in over 600 episodes of “ESPN First Take” and reportedly gets paid a salary of $500K per year for her services.
