9 Small Morning Habits That Will Make Your Whole Day So Much Better

If you’re like me, then mornings are the absolute worst. You wake up feeling groggy and tired, but you know that if you can just get out of bed, have a cup of coffee, and eat breakfast it will all be worth it. This is why I want to share 9 small morning habits with you that will help make your whole day so much better!
Habit N1: Get out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off
The first step to a good morning is getting out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off. This may be difficult at first, but it will get easier with time. When you’re able to wake up easily and naturally, you’ll start your day feeling refreshed and energized.
Habit N2: Hit the snooze button
On the other hand, hitting the snooze button only makes things worse. By hitting snooze, you’re essentially telling your body that it’s okay to keep sleeping, which will only make you feel more tired when you finally do get up.
Habit N3: Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up
Since adding this small step into my morning routine, I’ve noticed that I’m more productive, have fewer headaches throughout the day, and even feel less stressed!
Habit N4: Eat breakfast every single morning
If your goal is weight loss then skip this one because eating breakfast can actually help you lose weight! For those of us who are trying to gain muscle mass, it’s all about making sure we feed our muscles after waking up.
Habit N5: Take a shower
This one is pretty self-explanatory. A shower will help wake you up, get your day started, and make you feel more refreshed.
Habit N6: Get dressed for the day
One way to make sure that you have a good morning is by getting dressed for the day. This doesn’t mean putting on your suit and tie (unless you have a job like that), but rather dressing in clothes that make you feel comfortable and confident.
Habit N8: Do a 15-minute exercise session
If you’ve been struggling to get yourself to work out in the mornings, then try this habit instead. Just set your alarm for fifteen minutes earlier and do a quick workout or jog before having breakfast. You’ll feel so much better afterward!
Habit N9: Plan your day
Last but not least, planning your day is a great way to make sure you start off on the right foot. This doesn’t mean making a detailed schedule for each hour of the day, but rather have a general idea of what you want to accomplish. Having this plan in mind will help reduce stress and anxiety, and will make you feel more organized overall.
