THESE CLASSIC CELEBRITY CARS WILL LEAVE YOU ASTONISHED

Prince Harry – 1968 Jaguar E-Type, Estimated $471K

Most folks wouldn’t think that royalty like Prince Harry would want fast cars. But then again, he isn’t an average prince, and he even showed up in this 1968 Jaguar E Type to his wedding. This isn’t even the most daring thing he’s done, having been on the front line of war and relinquishing his royal duties.

What’s impressive is that this car goes from zero to 60mph in 5 seconds. That’s despite it being converted to an electric engine. Jaguar has proven that electric isn’t slow, and they’re planning a vast rollout of more restored E Types with electric engines by Summer 2020.

Jay Leno – 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe, Estimated $1.8M

Jay Leno is a true car aficionado. According to reports, he owns roughly 150 cars, with an estimated value of $52 million. Plus, his garage isn’t a tightly packed sardine can, but a spacious display room reminiscent of a car museum.

Out of all the vintage and modern cars and his extensive collection of motorcycles, this 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe is one of his favorites. Besides the slick classic design and upward-opening doors, this vintage car was also the fastest production car in its era. It reached a top speed of 163mph and was voted Sports Car of the Century in 1999.

Jerry Seinfeld – 1955 Porsche 550 RS, Estimated $5.35 Million

Jerry Seinfeld is one of the most loved comedians globally, as he starred in one of the most acclaimed sitcoms of all time. He is also one of the world’s most extravagant Porsche collectors in the world. That means his Porsche 550 RS is one of 47 Porsches he owns.

Like most Porsches, the car is built with handling considered over the brute speed with a modest 1.5-liter engine offering 135 horsepower. Only 90 were initially produced, but as it grew in popularity, the production volume grew. In May 2020, Netflix released Seinfeld’s first comedy special in 22 years.

Nick Mason – 1957 Maserati 250F, Estimated Price Undisclosed

While Nick Mason is a big deal in the music industry as the drummer for iconic rock band Pink Floyd, his 1957 Maserati 250F is an even bigger one. That vehicle was voted the World’s Greatest Racing Car by readers of the British magazine, Octane.

Mason, a racing enthusiast who has competed in the 24-Hours of Le Mans, drove his own model of the car to a photoshoot in honor of the award. Over a four-year racing tenure from 1954 to 1958, the car won a total of 55 racing titles. It is also widely regarded as one of the most aesthetically pleasing vehicles in Grand Prix History.

In 2020, Green released two new singles titled Lead Me and Doing It All together from his latest album CeeLo Green is Thomas Callaway.

Nick Jonas – 1967 Shelby Mustang, Estimated $68K

Nick Jonas loves himself some American muscle, and that’s why he’s had this car since his days in the Jonas Brothers alongside his brothers. The full title of this car is the 1968 Ford Mustang 428 Cobra, and this is significant for one particular reason.

Despite its reputation as one of America’s premium muscle cars, the Mustang was taking a beating on the street from other muscle car brands. To equalize this, Ford put a racing standard 428-engine that pushed 410-horsepower, although Ford rated it at 335-horsepower, to counter drag strip rules. Jonas is set to release a joint memoir with his brothers in October 2020.

John Travolta – 1960 Rolls-Royce Phantom V, Estimated $410K

The 1960 Rolls-Royce Phantom V owned by John Travolta is something quite special. First of all, it’s not just a car. It’s actually a Limousine. Considering that Travolta loves carting passengers in his plane, he probably also gets the same kick out of driving his family around in this car.

Besides Travolta, this is also the preferred car for British royal travel and has been the choice vehicle for Prince Charles since he inherited one from the Queen Mother. Other famous owners of this ride include Sir Elton John and John Lennon.

Beyoncé – Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Convertible, Estimated $1M

We all know how Jay Z spares no money when it comes to gifts for his Queen Bey, from platinum encrusted cell phone to private Island. This Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II is just one of those many high-end gifts. Jay Z gifted it to Beyonce on her 25th birthday.

The car came complete with wide leather seats, blue leather interior, and a 6-liter engine. This one is not about speed (it goes 0-60 in 10 seconds) but makes up for it in class and vintage charm. Beyonce recently featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s song Savage, which peaked at number one on the billboard 100 chart.

Amber Heard – Ford Mustang, Estimated $150K

Amber Heard must be sick of being recognized as the ex-wife currently embroiled in a defamation lawsuit with Johnny Depp. So instead, we’re going to point out that she is a talented actress with roles in Magic Mike XXL, 3 Days To A Kill, and Aquaman. She also has this awesome classic ’68 Ford Mustang.

A first-generation Mustang, this particular model was built when Ford was still trying to make the model look bigger and fit in a big block engine. It also came with a new V8 engine, and design mods included a new steering wheel side scoops and side marker lights.

Vanna White – 1973 VW Beetle, Estimated $20K

Before all the glitz and glamour of her thriving TV career, Vanna White was a pageant queen in need of a car. Her father stumped up the cash to buy it, but when she chose a 1973 VW Beetle, he implored her to choose something else. Nonetheless, she held firm and got it.

Her adamance about getting the car was strategic since the acronym for Volkswagen is the same as her initials, VW. In 2007, a picture of the car was featured on Wheel Of Fortune. She’s now been a part of the game show for over three decades. Currently, Vanna drives a Prius.

Ralph Lauren – 1930 Mercedes Benz 710 SSK Trossi Roadster, Estimated Worth Undisclosed

As a leading man in the fashion industry with refined taste, Ralph Lauren can’t just drive any car. The Ralph Lauren Corporation owner needs a vehicle with some vintage prestige and a story to tell. This is why he collects vintage cars and bought the 1930 Mercedes Benz 710 SSK Trossi Roadster.

One of the last cars designed for Mercedes by Ferdinand Porsche, it is a performance car that was regarded as one of the best of its era. It won the 1929 500 miles of Argentina and the 1930 Irish Grand Prix. Plus, if you drive it in reverse, it looks like the Batmobile.

Ron Howard – Volkswagen Beetle, Estimated $23K

Ron Howard shot to fame in the ’60s as the son of Sheriff Andy Taylor in the Andy Griffith Show. But two years after the show ended and he was eligible to drive, the first car he bought with his Hollywood money was a 1970 VW Beetle.

Howard himself admits that he got the car to not be boxed in with other Hollywood personalities buying massive muscle cars and classy cabriolets. Even more humbling is that even after two Oscars and millions of more dollars, he sometimes drives this around still.

Kendall Jenner – 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, Estimated $101K

Just because she’s a girl doesn’t mean Kendall Jenner can’t like cars. The supermodel has a massive collection of vehicles, most of which are classic models. One of these is a 57 Chevy Corvette convertible, which she almost inadvertently ended up devaluing.

But thanks to Jay Leno, owner of 150+ vintage cars, she didn’t. She wanted to give the car a new paint job, but Leno warned her that it would devalue the car, likening the move to ripping the label off a Prada bag then replacing it with something else. She decided against that decision, then took Leno for a spin in it.

Nicolas Cage – 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder, Estimated $14M

Nicolas Cage had to let go of many of his assets after getting into trouble with the IRS, but he still managed to hold onto some of his cars. Among them is this 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder. One of the reasons he still has it is probably because it’s valued at $14 million, which is crazy money for a car.

Apparently, this is also one of the many cars Cage blew all of his money on. Some of the others include several Rolls Royce’s, a ’71 Lamborghini Miura, and a ’67 Mustang Shelby Eleanor, which Cage drove in Gone in Sixty Seconds.

Robert Downey Jr. – Custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, Estimated $275K

Imagine Iron Man driving around in the Batmobile. That’s what it looks like with Robert Downey Jr is in his custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. The upcoming film, The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, is said to feature a Camaro-like car for the Batmobile. This was at least according to set photos shared by director Matt Reeves.

Downey Jr personally designed this custom Camaro. It was reported that after filming Captain America Civil War, the star of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes had a custom Captain America Camaro designed for Avengers co-star Chris Evans, who plays Cap in the films.

John Cena – 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO 427, Estimated $200K

With a tag line like “You can’t see me,” John Cena needs to be quick around the wrestling ring. He appears to be living his life to the same motto with his taste in cars. The wrestler/actor owns a classic 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, giving him enough speed to make him difficult to see and catch.

While you may not see him, you’ll hear him pass you in this 375-horsepower machine that tops out at 135mph. It’s also pretty nimble on the bends and was known as one of its generation’s most agile muscle cars.

Chris Pratt – 1965 Volkswagon Beetle, Estimated $23K

He may be a big-time Hollywood leading man now, but Chris Pratt is still just a regular guy with regular guy interests. One of those interests is restoring old cars, which he did with this 1965 VW Beetle. He restored this car by himself with no help.

Of course, between Parks and Recreation to his staring role as Starlord in The Guardian’s Of The Galaxy, he hasn’t had much time to do this, hence why it took him 12-years to achieve his finished product. At least he didn’t pay anything for the car, since he won it during a game of Black Jack.

George Clooney – 1953 Chevrolet Corvette V8 C1, Estimated $190K

George Clooney loves cars, and he has a diverse catalog to prove it. His collection includes a Tesla Roadster, Lexus LS, Porsche 911 Carrera and a Tango T600 EV. Still, the one he loves most isn’t what he bought himself, but one given to him by his father.

The car in question is a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette. Clooney senior was reluctant to let George drive the vehicle, but after his divorce from Talia Balsam, he needed a lift, so his dad refurbished the car and sent it to him. Clooney is starring and directing his upcoming film, The Midnight Sky.

Priscilla Presley – 1964 Chevrolet Corvair, Estimated Price Undisclosed

So one of the main conditions made by Priscilla Presley’s parents when she moved from Germany to Memphis in 1962 was that he put her in a good school and that he only marries her after she graduates. It’s probably why he got so excited about her graduation that he gave her a car.

It was a 1964 Chevrolet Corvair, which was not the fastest at 80-horsepower, and was smaller than standard size back then. When she offered to take Elvis for a spin, he agreed on the condition that they don’t leave Graceland, since he didn’t want to be seen driven around by a woman.

Sean Connery – 1964 Jensen C-V8, Estimated $150K

Would it be unusual to see Sean Connery driving a 1964 Jensen C-V8? Of course not since it looks like a bond car anyway, although it probably comes with none of the gadgets. It was, however, the faster production cars of its era.

This car accelerated from zero to 60mph in 6.7 seconds, hitting a top speed of 136mph and could run a quarter mile at 14.6 seconds. As an iconic car with an iconic owner, it’s value also skyrocketed. In 2018, the car was put up for sale for $150,000 by the Jensen Museum.

Cher – 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible, Estimated $55K

Throughout her career, Cher has always been renowned for her flamboyant personality. So you can trust her to turn one of America’s most iconic muscle cars into a bright pink shot of pop star flair, removing some of the seriousness from the brand.

The car was modded specifically with Cher in mind, and there was another gold theme vehicle modded for her late husband, Sonny Bono. At the height of their fame in the ’60s, the couple was earmarked as celebrity reps for Ford’s vehicles. The customization was done by the late George Barris, self-proclaimed “King Of Kustomizers.”

Heidi Klum – Volkswagen Beetle, Estimated $21K

Heidi Klum was famously at the launch of the all-pink 2009 VW Beetle. The launch of this particular model was to celebrate 50 years of the Barbie Doll. While it wasn’t said in so many words, it appears that Klum, a leggy blonde, was there to symbolize the leggy blonde being celebrated.

Or it could be that she just loves the brand. This would make perfect sense if the rumor of her owning three different Beetles were true. She has only been seen around with the green model. Klum is set to return as a judge for the 2020 season of America’s Got Talent.

Nancy Sinatra – 1957 Ford Thunderbird, Estimated $50K

If you’ve ever wondered what Frank Sinatra was like with his kids, then this story between him and his daughter Nancy Sinatra should give you an idea. Her father’s gesture on her 17th birthday proved that he was more than doing just his duties as a father.

He gave her a brand new, 1957 Ford Thunderbird. At the time, this model was more popular than a Corvette. Because it was built for comfort, not speed, Ol’ Blue Eyes probably thought it was a safe drive for his baby girl. Nancy kept it for 20 years and even used it in her TV appearances.

Harrison Ford – 1955 Jaguar XK 140, Estimated $177K

In his career, Harrison Ford has been renowned for playing Han Solo, a character that piloted one of the fastest ships in the galaxy. But in real life, he prefers to cruise around in his restored vintage 1955 Jaguar XK 140—not that it’s meant purely for cruising.

The ride was a pretty mean performance car in its day and carried a 210-horsepower in a 3.4-liter engine, which topped out at 130mph. While it can do speed, it’s not meant for it and takes 9.5 seconds to go from zero to 60mph. Ford’s most recent movie role was in the 2020 film Call Of The Wild.

Dr. Phil – 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, Estimated $100K

Dr. Phil isn’t just a TV psychologist. He is also a businessman who founded Courtroom Science Inc, a company that aids the court system in trial consulting, jury selection, and witness training. This is why he can afford his vast car collection.

Part of that collection is a vintage ’57 Chevrolet Bel-Air convertible. He must be glad that it was recovered after it was stolen from a repair shop in Burbank. It was recovered nearly four months later, not far from where it was stolen. It was allegedly the work of a syndicate that has been targeting vintage vehicles.

Sophia Loren – 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL, Estimated $7K

Renowned as one of the most beautiful women in the world during the ’50s, Sophia Lauren had her ex-husband so smitten that he forked out $7,000 on a new Mercedes-Benz 300SL. Of course, that was then, and today it would cost $1.4 million.

This car not only had the aesthetic appeal fitting for Loren’s blend of sultry and smoldering beauty, but it was also pretty nippy on the road. With a 215 horsepower and 3.0-liter engine, performance is taken care of with a four-speed gearbox. Loren was part of an elite ownership club that included Elvis Presley and Clarke Gable.

Aaron Paul – 1965 Shelby Cobra, Estimated $250K

As an actor who has showcased versatility in all of the roles he played, it’s fitting that Aaron Paul also wants the same thing out of his car. Hence why he owns this AC Cobra, the ultimate mix of British class and American Muscle.

This specific AC model was specially created for the race car driver and automotive designer Carroll Shelby, famous for the Ford Mustang GT500 he designed. The car is built snugly but has a powerful V8 engine that pushes a top speed of 165mph and goes from zero to 60 in 4.4 seconds.

Built for comfort and style, this four-door sedan is the epitome of a car meant to have your friends in the back for a night on the town. Von Teese hasn’t mentioned its price, but its estimated value is $34,100. She has also owned a 1939 Packard and a 1946 Ford Super Deluxe.

Lady Gaga – Chevrolet El Camino, Estimated $32K

You would think that with Lady Gaga’s reputations of extravagance and colorful dress sense, she would go for a car that stands out like Kim Kardashian or Trisha Paytas. But instead, she likes to get around in a pitch-black Chevrolet El-Camino.

Not that a black El-Camino doesn’t stand out in a city full of Prius’s, plus it’s also pretty loud and exciting. This standard-design pick-up truck looks like a car model from the late ’60s and early ’70s. However, it can push up to 350-horsepower, and it usually retails at $32,000.

Justin Timberlake – 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, Estimate $64K

In the movie Trouble With The Curve, Justin Timberlake drove a 1967 Pontiac GTO. By the time he was done filming, he had gotten so attached to the car that he had gone out to look for one to buy for himself.

Timberlake found his ride after learning that someone in Texas had been refurbishing one. The Pontiac is the original muscle car, and the 1967 model was a powerful piece of work with its 6.4-liter engine pushing 335-horsepower. It was also way ahead of its time in terms of safety and came with a padded instrument panel.

Christian Audigier – AC Cobra, Estimated $250K

A man of immense style and class, Christian Audigier liked his cars like he liked his fashion—stylish with a touch of muscle and grit. The designer of brands like Ed Hardy and Von Dutch loved getting around in his versatile and pretty powerful AC Cobra.

Hugh Laurie – Ford Galaxie 500, Estimated 77K

As an actor, Hugh Laurie was known internationally for his role as Dr. House. But if you didn’t know, he wanted to be Clint Eastwood. That’s probably why he loves American muscle cars, and it doesn’t get any more American muscle than a Ford Galaxie 500.

Manufactured during the space race, the vehicle was branded and named with that in mind. It was also built like a space shuttle, with lots of room to maneuver. However, after House ended, Laurie moved back to England and eventually had to sell the Galaxie. His mechanic bought it.

Eric Bana – Ford Falcon XB, Estimated $8K

Some of us may have forgotten in light of Mark Ruffalo’s excellent portrayal, but one of Eric Bana’s most famous roles was the Incredible Hulk in the first film iteration. But apart from that, he is also well known for his love of motor racing and his long-standing racing Ford Falcon.

He bought it at the age of 15 to satiate his love for racing and even raced the week-long Targa Tasmania race in 1996. Bana has owned the car for over a quarter of a century and even has a documentary about it. It was called Love The Beast.

Tim Allen – 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 409, Estimated $2.6K

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a larger than life guy with a larger than life personality. So his larger than life Mercedes-Benz Unimog should be perfect for him. his muscle car of choice is more like a muscle truck, and he has been known to use the vehicle for day to day chores.

Riding on 22-inch wheels and powered by a 6.4-liter engine, this beast puts out 315 horsepower and also has a four-person bench with seat belts in the flatbed, and Arnie’s Signature on the dash. This is significant because the former Governator is looking to sell his beautiful beast for $350,980.

Tom Hanks – Fiat 126p, Estimated $1K

Despite his film achievements and his $350 million net worth, Tom Hanks prefers to drive around in modest vehicles. But he took that to a new level when he visited Poland in 2019 on a family vacation with his wife.

With thousands of Fiat 126p’s dotting the town of Bielsko-Biala, every time Hanks passed one, he would pose for a photo and post it to his Twitter. Eventually, a fan of Hanks from the city saw his posts and decided to crowdfund money to buy him his own. Mischa Barton – 1973 Cadillac Eldorado, Estimated $26K

During the lead up to her stint on 2016’s Dancing With The Stars, Mischa Barton was rumored to be in financial difficulty. She had her leased VW repossessed and also got close to losing her lease on her Audi. But when she showed up for her first rehearsal, she looked anything but stressed.

She actually looked stylish in a classic blue 1973 Cadillac Eldorado. This appears to be her vehicle of choice now, and she has been seen out getting coffee and running general errands in the car. She recently starred in the Drake produced comedy horror called Spree.

Despite being a luxury vehicle, the car is powerful, being pushed on by a 3.4-liter engine with 160-horsepower. David Beckham – 1969 Porsche 911, Estimated $110K

Between his high profile career as a footballer and subsequent endorsements with brands like Adidas, David Beckham has accrued a healthy net worth of $450 million. Besides spreading passes and practicing brand placement, Beckham has also maintained an enormous car collection for most of his career.

While his collection contains every brand from Rolls Royce to Ferrari and even a McLaren and Cadillac, he is still most proud of his 1969 Porsche 911. While we all know Patrick Dempsey for his role as Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd in the hit TV series Greys Anatomy, he has gained mainstream success since the ’80s with films Can’t Buy Me Love and Loverboy. What did he do with his first paycheck? He bought a car, of course!

Dempsey bought a Porsche 356 Speedster, which is the car that made him a lifelong fan of the brand and a racing enthusiast. In fact, he is currently an ambassador for Porsche and a professional racecar driver. Dempsey has competed in several endurance races, including the 24-Hours of Le Mans.

Bill Goldberg – 1969 Dodge Hemi Charger R/T, Estimated $44K

Why would he choose it over his Camaro? Well, because he loves Chevys, and he loves yellow cars. Most of the vehicles in his collection are even yellow, including his 2011 Camaro, 2007 Corvette, ’69 Corvette, and Kodiak. Fieri only changed it up with a Lamborghini Gallardo.

Channing Tatum – 1957 3100 Chevrolet, Estimated $50K

As one of the beefier stars in Hollywood, Channing Tatum has a penchant for beefy cars as well. It might be why he chose his 1957 3100 Chevy pickup. A hot rod of epic proportions, this car took the Chevrolet pickup design to the next level and is still revered today.

It was built for comfort and long drives as well as bumpy terrain. The spacious design adds to the driving experience, even though this vehicle is built for hard work. Tatum’s appreciation for this kind of car can be linked to his childhood when his father worked in construction.

Oprah Winfrey – 1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing, Estimated $1.8M

In 2003, when Oprah did her famous “everyone’s getting a car” giveaway, it wasn’t her giving away the cars. It was Pontiac who donated the vehicles to the show. Despite this, Winfrey is no stranger to selling, and more pertinently, donating her cars, which is why she only owns four.

But one of those is a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, which was voted the Sports Car of the last century and was also the fastest production car of its era. It’s also stylish even by modern standard and sure allows the Queen of All Media to travel in the royal fashion she deserves.

Ben Affleck – 1972 Cadillac Sedan De Ville, Estimated $6.4K

Despite being born in 1972, Ben Affleck calls the ’70s his time. When he says that, though, he probably means in terms of cars. He certainly doesn’t consider himself in league with the likes of Jay Leno, but he does love a vintage ride and often checks them out online.

He does own at least one car from that era, the 1972 Cadillac Sedan De Ville he bought with his brother when they moved to Hollywood. He says he still has it in storage, but every now and then, he’s seen out and about getting coffee or just taking her for a spin.

Katy Perry – 1968 Mercedes-Benz 250SL, Estimated $39.6K

The car is built for comfort, show, and for cruising with its modest 148-horsepower. It tops out at 121mph and goes for zero to 60mph in 9.5 seconds. Perry gave birth to a daughter in August 2020 and will probably keep carting her baby around in her vintage Benz.

Matthew McConaughey – 1971 Corvette Stingray Convertible, Estimated $61.6K

Matthew McConaughey is a Texan through and through. He has a drawl, a big personality, and a few big cars to prove it. He also has a big heart and put it all together when he put his prized 1971 Chevy Corvette up for sale on eBay.

What’s that got to do with the size of his heart? Well, the funds from the sale went directly to Oprah’s Angel Network for Hurricane Katrina and Rita recovery efforts. The car proved quite a hit, and after more than 25 bids, it eventually sold for $61,600.

Conan O’Brien – 1992 Ford Taurus SHO, Estimated $24K

You know what, back in 1992, the Ford Taurus SHO was pretty hot property. So hot that even Conan O-Brien forked out $24,000 for one that year. Of course, it wasn’t exactly a bad choice to make, considering the spacious design and performance specs.

The car has a top speed of 143mph and goes from zero to 60mph in 6.6 seconds. Its 3.0-liter V-8 engine pushed a horsepower of 220, and its aesthetic design was pretty revolutionary at the time. However, the fuel efficiency of a 3.0-liter engine didn’t bode well as time passed. Eventually, it was discontinued after low sales in 1999. The model was revived in 2010, though.
