Everyone knows Maggie Smith from her appearance on the Harry Potter franchise. But long before that, Smith was already an acting star, thanks to her performance on Downton Abbey as Lady Violet. Smith portrayed Lady Violet from 2010 to 2015. The Byfleet Manor, pictured above, was the house where the series was filmed.
The Byfleet Manor was built in the 17th century, and it comes with 6,000 square feet of space, sitting on an 18-acre lot. In 2015, it was reported that the Manor was sold to an unknown buyer for $6 million. After being listed, the house was purchased in less than a year!
