Miranda Kerr Shares Her Go-To Practices for Beauty and Wellness

Wellness routines often spark curiosity, especially when someone with radiant skin and balanced energy reveals what truly works.
At 42, Miranda Kerr continues to gain attention not only for her career but also for her holistic approach to health. The Australian model, certified health coach, and founder of Kora Organics has built a lifestyle around practices that enhance both inner and outer wellbeing.
Recently, she revealed two essentials she relies on: a high-tech therapy worth the splurge and a free, underrated practice that anyone can try.
The Power of Red Light Therapy

Miranda credits red light therapy as one of her most effective wellness tools. Instead of using smaller devices, she prefers a light mat, which allows her to target multiple areas of the body simultaneously.
She explained, “It uses red and near-infrared light to support everything from skin rejuvenation to muscle recovery and nervous system regulation. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes — not just to my skin, but how I feel in my body.”
This therapy has gained recognition for its benefits beyond beauty. Early studies suggest that it helps reduce inflammation, a factor linked to conditions such as proctitis, a form of IBS that Miranda discussed publicly last year. While the cause of this autoimmune condition remains uncertain, she shared with “Get the Gloss” that the lack of clear answers can be frustrating. Still, treatments like red light have provided her with noticeable improvements.
Beyond digestive health, research also points to pain relief benefits. Red light therapy has shown potential in alleviating discomfort associated with rheumatoid arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and inflammation-driven aches. For the skin, advocates highlight its ability to smooth wrinkles, minimize stretch marks, reduce discoloration, repair sun damage, combat acne, and soothe conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
A Beauty Secret That Costs Nothing

While red light mats require investment, Miranda insists not every wellness practice needs a price tag. She highlights nervous system support as one of the most overlooked beauty secrets.
According to her, “Simple things like Vedic meditation, deep breathing, or putting your bare feet on the earth help your whole body find balance.”
These grounding practices encourage calm within the body, which she believes directly impacts outer appearance. “When your nervous system is calm, it shows — in your skin, your mood, your energy. That inner harmony really is the foundation for outer glow.”
Skin Health Beyond Treatments
Alongside therapy and mindfulness, Miranda follows a consistent skincare routine anchored by daily sun protection. Using SPF remains one of her most important rules for slowing the signs of aging and protecting skin health in the long term. She has also shared three personal skincare principles that guide her regimen, as well as a clever method for reapplying sunscreen throughout the day.
These consistent but straightforward habits reflect her broader philosophy: true beauty blends advanced treatments with everyday practices that support health from the inside out.
Miranda’s approach combines science-backed therapies with simple, natural practices, demonstrating that wellness can be both effective and accessible. Her openness about autoimmune challenges, combined with strategies like red light therapy and nervous system support, highlights a balanced lifestyle that enhances both health and appearance.
