Billy Connolly – $4.75 Million, New York

Billy Connolly has managed to become successful both as a folk singer and as an actor, having starred in iconic films like Mrs. Brown and The Last Samurai. In 2014, he moved to New York for the Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies filming, and, having a $20 million net worth, he purchased this wonderful loft.
With an open-plan design, three bedrooms, and a spectacular view of the city, this loft is the stuff of dreams. As it was later reported, just two years later, Connolly decided to sell it for $4.75 million. It was eventually purchased by an American businessman and his wife, who happened to be Scottish, just like Connolly.
